Runaway Bay Motor Inn takes it’s responsibility for the health and safety of all our guests and employees very seriously. It is for this reason we have introduced enhanced hygiene and prevention measures to ensure your safety. The COVID Clean Practicing Business label verified by QTIC (Queensland Tourism Industry Council) represents our new elevated cleanliness protocols and standards.

Here at the Runaway Bay Motor Inn, our focus is ensuring that our guests are comfortable with the increased measures which we have implemented around coronavirus (COVID-19). For your convenience, our clean commitment outlines the steps that we now have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of all our guests and employees.

We ask you to follow the new safety measures that have been put into place to ensure a safe and clean environment is maintained. All new measures are in accordance with the government’s mandated requirements.

YOUR WELLBEING

While we are excited to welcome our guests back, if you are unwell, please stay at home as you may be denied entry if you are showing any visible signs of COVID-19 / flu-like symptoms (ie. fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, fatigue) or have been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19.

HYGIENE & CLEANINESS

Hand sanitising stations have been placed in key public areas for your convenience.
Please practice safe hygiene etiquette by washing your hands regularly, cover your mouth whilst coughing/sneezing and avoid touching your face.

YOUR PHYSICAL DISTANCING

We have implemented measures to help maintain a safe physical distance at all times.
Signage is prominently displayed around the motel premises to reinforce and remind our guests to maintain social distancing at all times.
Please observe all social distancing requirements issued by authorities; these include 1.5 metres separation from others, limiting 1 person per 4 square metres (excluding household members).
Avoid close contact with anyone who is coughing, sneezing or feverish.

GUEST ROOMS / PUBLIC AREAS

Enhanced cleaning protocols have been implemented including extra disinfection of all high touch surfaces in all rooms and public areas.
All staff have undertaken comprehensive safety and hygiene training.
